Gerard Depardieu Detained in Paris for Driving Scooter While Drunk

French film icon was held for questioning after he fell from his scooter this afternoon

At least it wasn't a car, right?

French actor Gerard Depardieu was detained for driving his scooter while drunk today after he had a minor accident in Paris.

According to reports, the Life of Pi star was held for questioning after he fell from his scooter mid-afternoon. The 63-year-old actor slightly injured his elbow, but no one else was hurt in the crash. 

Remember when Gerard peed on a plane? 

But this is hardly the first time the French film icon has stirred up trouble (and seriously, what is it with today?).

In August, he was accused of adding injury to insult after allegedly crashing his scooter into another vehicle on the streets of Paris.

And just last year, the Man in the Iron Mask star infamously peed on the carpet of an Air France plane.
