Although you won't find the Harry Potter star on Twitter or Facebook, the hunky Brit is coming online by way of Google+, and his page is already filled with videos and photos that will surely please his dedicated fans.
Radcliffe decided to join the social media scene after dealing with numerous fake Twitter and Facebook accounts, and he hopes to give fans a place to go for solid scoop.
"This has mainly come about because of the amount of people that I meet who tell me that they have contacted me on Twitter or Facebook when I know that's impossible — because I don't belong to either one of those sites," Radcliffe said to MTV News about joining Google+. "Now that I have this page, there will be an outlet for accurate information and hopefully people will not waste their time giving credence to people pretending to be me."
But don't expect a play-by-play on Daniel's everyday life:
"It will be active, but with updates about things I'm working on or have worked on, including things I'm passionate about, like the Trevor Project," admits the 23-year-old star. "What it won't be is the minutia of my daily life, like what's on the craft services table."
And the banner on the star's Google+ page also emphasizes Daniel's desire to have an outlet to post accurate information:
"So this is my first foray into the world of social media," he writes. "This exists for one main reason: To be my official and verified online presence. It gives accurate information free from imposters or fabrication. So if you prefer accurate information welcome to Google.com/+Daniel Radcliffe."
