Wyatt Cenac, The Daily Show

Not funny, Wyatt Cenac.

The Daily Show will be without Cenac, regularly one of the program's funniest correspondents, after the end of this year, Comedy Central announced Monday.

"Jon and the staff wish him the best in his future endeavors," the network told E! News in a statement.

Cenac, who joined Jon Stewart's band of merry political satirists in 2008, also shared in the show's last two Emmy wins for Outstanding Writing for a Variety, Music or Comedy Series.

The 36-year-old comedian doesn't tweet and he hasn't yet updated his website with the news, so we're without a funny spin on the situation for now.

Meanwhile, according to Vulture.com, Cenac's last day on The Daily Show will be Dec. 13. May they use him wisely.
