It's probably safe to say that your long Thanksgiving weekend was probably not as eventful as the one had by Halle Berry, Gabriel Aubry and Olivier Martinez.

What's more, between the turkey eating and hanging out with relatives and seeing Breaking Dawn Part 2 for the umpteenth time, it's understandable if you missed some of the details.

Fortunately, that's where we come in with a rundown of all that has gone down (so far!) along with a little backstory leading up to the holiday drama.

November 2005: Berry began dating Aubry, who is nine years her junior, after the two met at a Versace photo shoot.

March 16, 2008: Berry and Aubry welcomed their first child together, Nahla Ariela Aubry.

April 2010: It's announced the two have ended their relationship, with some reports claiming the couple had actually called it quits months earlier. A bitter custody battle ensues.

August 2010: Berry and Martinez began dating after working together on the film, Dark Tides.

January 2012: Berry spotted with a giant ring, sparking engagement speculation. But they refuse to confirm their betrothal.

March 2012: A judge closed a pending child-endangerment case against Aubry upon the recommendation of the Los Angeles County Department of Family and Children Services. The DFCS was first called to investigate after a former nanny accused Aubry of yelling at and shoving her while she was holding Nahla. The DFCS, however, found no evidence that Nahla was in danger.

That same month, Berry and Martinez finally announce their engagement.

Nov. 10, 2012: Berry lost her bid to move to France with Nahla. The Oscar winner had filed a request back in February because she said she feared for her life

Nov. 22, 2012: Aubry was injured and arrested following a brawl with Martinez outside the actress's Los Angeles home on Thanksgiving morning. According to police, Aubry was treated at a hospital and subsequently booked at the Metro Detention Center for misdemeanor battery. He was later released on $20,000 bail. A source tells E! News the altercation began after Aubry dropped Nahla, off at the Oscar winner's place and that Martinez also wound up needing medical attention as well.

Just hours before the encounter, however, a source tells E! News that Berry, Aubry and Martinez were all at Nahla's school for a Thanksgiving party. While the trio briefly exchanged greetings, they did not talk to each other after that.

Later in the day, following the fight, Martinez, with his hand bruised and swollen, was spotted with Berry as the couple stopped by a friend's home in Los Angeles.

Nov. 23, 2012: Berry was seen taking 4-year-old Nahla to the Yo Gabba Gabba show at the Nokia Theater at L.A. Live. Despite all the drama that went down the day before, Berry was all smiles as she and her daughter watched the performance.

Nov. 24, 2012: Aubry spotted for the first time since his physical altercation with Martinez. The 36-year-old model's left eye appeared almost completely shut due to swelling and bruising.

Nov. 25, 2012: More bad news for Martinez. As if getting into a brawl with Aubry wasn't unfortunate enough, the Mediterranean-themed Miami Beach restaurant that the French actor co-owns was slapped with several health violations following a routine inspection on Nov. 16 by Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulations.

Nov. 26, 2012: Berry and Martinez are seen arriving at their Beverly Hills home with Nahla. Not surprising, the couple looked rather glum...Aubry obtains a temporary restraining order against Martinez, alleging in his court filing that Martinez threatened to kill him if he got in the way of Berry and Nahla moving to France...Berry's attorney also says that they plan to return to court to try to extend the emergency protection order that was issued against Aubry after his arrest.

Nov. 27, 2012: Attorneys for both Berry and Aubry appear before the former couple's child custody judge. While there's no word on what was said at the hearing, which was closed to the media, it's expected that both sides addressed the routine emergency protection order Berry was granted that required Aubry to stay away from their daughter for five court days—specifically the matter of when Aubry might be able to see the child, especially since Berry's lawyer told E! News previously that she plans to file for an additional restraining order against Aubry later this week.

Dec. 13: Aubry is scheduled to be arraigned on a misdemeanor battery charge.
