Time wasn't on the Rolling Stones' side Sunday night.

After a five-year hiatus, the legendary band returned to the stage in London at the O2 Arena for the first show of their anniversary tour to celebrate 50 successful years in the music business.

Despite reports that the group cut their concert short because of local curfew laws, the Stones wrapped up their performance at 11 p.m. after deciding to change their set list.

As a result, the band didn't close out the show with one of their most famous tunes, "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction."

But not all was lost.

Lead singer Mick Jagger got the crowd of 20,000 people going when he sang "I Wanna Be Your Man" right off the bat.

The show, which lasted over two hours, also included performances of hits "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "Jumpin' Jack Flash." Former band members Bill Wyman and Mick Taylor even got in on the fun, joining Jagger, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts on stage.

A few of the band's famous friends stopped by, with Mary J. Blige joining Jagger to perform a duet of "Gimme Shelter," and guitar hero Jeff Beck lending his talents to "I'm Going Down."
