Angelenos rejoice: David Beckham's abs might be staying in the city.

Victoria Beckham's other half announced Monday that the 2012 Major League Soccer Cup on Dec. 1 will be his last game with the L.A. Galaxy, but Tuesday, the 37-year-old athlete revealed there's a possibility he will stay in Los Angeles after he leaves the Southern California team.

"L.A. will always be regarded as our home," the soccer stud told reporters outside the Home Depot Center after practice. "We're not guaranteeing we're moving back to England, not guaranteeing we'll stay here. We'll decide that."

He continued, noting that California has been a wonderful place for the entire Beckham family, thanks in part to their adorable daughter, Harper Seven, who was born last summer in Los Angeles.

"Here it's been very special," the doting dad gushed. "Our daughter was born here so it's a very special place for us."

Becks' Galaxy coach Bruna Arena and his teammate Landon Donovan also spoke out about the star's upcoming exit, and while they're sad to see him go, they both admitted that David's most important job is being a father.

"He's a very loving parent," Arena said when asked what people don't know about the world famous athlete. "He's phenomenal with his children. It's his No. 1 priority in his life."

Donovan also echoed the same sentiment about the father of four:

"I think one thing people probably don't realize is what a great father he is. It's fun to see him outside the media spotlight…and just being a dad like a normal person would be. It's really nice to see."

But even though the doting dad puts his family first, he's also seriously dedicated to the MLS, a commitment that he insists will not waver after he leaves the Galaxy.

"My Galaxy contract will be coming to an end, but my commitment to the MLS will not. I want to continue to see this league grow."

As for his next move? Becks admits he still hasn't decided:

"I have a few opportunities on the table," he revealed. "But my focus is on the finals right now. After that, I'll sit down with my family and decide."

Here's one vote for L.A.!
