'Tis the season to give thanks and this year we're counting our blessings with a few tried-and-true styles that we've come to rely on over the years. While it's always fun to experiment with new trends, we're grateful for certain go-to items in our closet that have always managed to get us through a sartorial pinch no matter what the season or occasion. And we're not alone in our dependence on these classic pieces. We've found celebs who love these staples just as much as we do!

Ballet flats: Like any on-the-go gal can tell you, mobility is key. But sometimes a favorite pair of sky-high Jimmy Choos just won't do for running errands about town—and neither will a pair of style-sacrificing running shoes! Enter the comfortable yet chic ballet flat. The versatile shoe is available in just about every color, and with a range of stylish embellishments, from edgy studs to girly bows like the ones found on Olivia Palermo's cute crimson pair.

Red lipstick: There's a reason Gwen Stefani has come to rely on a pretty red pout for everything from red carpet appearances to trips to the studio—it's a foolproof beauty booster! With a single sweep of the sultry shade, your beauty routine is pretty much done, since accompanying eye makeup should remain minimal. So simple, so chic. What's not to love?

Peplum: If there's something we're especially appreciative of during the holidays, it's a style that helps hide the evidence of our over-indulging in tasty holiday fare. With its tummy-obscuring ruffle, peplum does just that! Plus, the classic look elevates everything from skinnies to a sequined skirt, like Emma Stone's Burberry Prorsum one, to sophisticated ladylike levels. So, go ahead. Have that second helping.

There are plenty more fabulous styles we're thankful for that every gal should have in her wardrobe. We're listing them all week, so make sure to check back tomorrow, when we share even more style staples!
