Apparently, even first ladies need their Maggie Smith fix.

Michelle Obama proved to be quite the avid Downton Abbey fan by reportedly requesting—and receiving—an advance DVD copy of the hit series' eagerly anticipated third season, which won't be broadcast in the U.S. until January.

Ah, the perks of being a cool, pop-culture-loving first lady!

Per Britain's The Sun, the show's U.K. network, ITV, said it was surprised but ever so pleased when Obama's camp reached out to request a copy.

"They were very polite, and we were more than happy to sort out some DVDs for them to send over," a station rep tells the paper. "Obviously we hope they keep the spoilers to themselves as our U.S. fans may not know about... well, you know what!"

Please take heed, Mrs. Obama: Sssssssh!
