First Look: Tom Cruise Goes Futuristic in All You Need Is Kill

Cruise sets his sights on the sci-fi genre, slapping on a mechanical suit for this flick

Talk about getting fired up.

In the first released photo from Tom Cruise's upcoming futuristic flick All You Need Is Kill, the Oscar-nominated star is shown clad in a metal mechanical suit, running from a huge fireball. 

The sci-fi film centers around a soldier named Bill Cage (Cruise) who has to fight a war against an alien race called Mimics.

Cage dies over and over in the film, and is reborn to fight the same battle, growing tougher, smarter and more skillful each time he comes back to life.

All You Need Is Kill, which also stars Bill Paxton and Emily Blunt, is set to hit theaters March 14, 2014.
