Evan Rachel Wood knocked us off our feet with her fanciful sequined gold frock, while Halle Berry recently sizzled in a silver lace Dolce & Gabbana cocktail dress. Not sure if metallics are for you? Kick up your beauty look with gold-flecked eye shadow to ease your way into it.
3. Capes: If you're looking for a fresh update to your current outwear wear collection, consider a cape. Dramatic and fashion-forward, capes have been popping up on plenty of stylish stars like Diane Kruger and Elle Fanning. We love this look paired with everything from winter dresses and tights, to skinny jeans and ankle booties.

The flirty shape nips in waistlines and creates an hourglass shape on any figure and is loved by countless stars including Kim Kardashian. Bonus! That bit of ruffle around the midsection is awfully convenient for disguising any unwanted bulk. Feminine and flattering? We're in love.
