Kristen Stewart still doesn't know what her dad thinks about her drug- and sex-filled work in On The Road.

"I think everybody was really happy that it took a few years for the movie to be made," the 22-year-old Stewart told E! News earlier today while promoting the indie flick with her hottie costar Garrett Hedlund at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills. "My mom came to Cannes. She loved it. She was really proud. I haven't talked to my dad about it yet, really."

We have to imagine that would be a very awkward conversation considering how much sex and nudity there is in the movie.

Despite the film's risqué material and R rating (it's in theaters Dec. 21 followed by a wider release in January), KStew isn't exactly telling her younger Twi-fans to stay away.

"I think if you have a desire to see it and your parents don't want you to see it, take that bull by the horns," she said.

With On The Road finally hitting theaters and the possibility of her playing Ben Affleck's love interest in Focus, Stewart is surely saying goodbye to Twilight. She said she still loves the five-part franchise as much as she did on day one, but "that weight is lifted."

"I don't have to worry about Bella anymore," Stewart said. "But I'm like, Wow…it's so weird. Where is it? She's not like tapping me on the shoulder anymore."
