It's an awkward encounter among newfound friends.
Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) talk about the latter's animal scent in the latest Breaking Dawn Part 2 clip that's in the wild courtesy of MTV, which gives Twihards an intimate sneak peek at everyone's favorite cross-species love triangle at a major crossroads.
In the scene, the Twilight heroine and Edward (Robert Pattinson) meet up for the first time with the latter's shapeshifting wolf rival in the forest after Bella has turned into a vampire and given birth to Renesmee.
In a tense moment, Jacob invites Bella to "take a whiff" and check out his scent because it's "safer for the baby to see how you do with me first." With her emotionally wrought hubby looking on, Bella does as requested.
"Well, I can see what everyone's been talking about. Jake, you really do stink," she tells him.
The trio share a laugh and all is smell well in the Twilight universe.
The epic romance fantasy saga's final installment, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, hits theaters Nov. 16.
