USA has decided not to order a second season of their critically adored miniseries Political Animals, E! News confirms.

"We are proud of Political Animals, our miniseries that attracted critical acclaim and impacted the cultural conversation this summer," the network says in a statement. "It was a pleasure to work with Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark and a powerful cast led by Sigourney Weaver. We look forward to collaborating again with these immensely talented creatives."

The Washington, D.C.-centered show averaged 3.2 million viewers over its six-episode run.

Also getting the ax recently by USA was Fairly Legal and Common Law, which were denied a third and second season, respectively.

But on to happy news! The network announced return dates this week for Suits, White Collar and Necessary Roughness. Suits will premiere the second half of season two on Thursday, Jan. 17, while White Collar's back half of season four debuts on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Finally Necessary Roughness begins its second season on Wednesday, Jan. 23.
