Octomom Nadya Suleman Checks Into Rehab

Mother of 14 heads to a treatment center in Orange, Calif., seeking help for anxiety, stress and exhaustion

Nadya Suleman, aka Octomom, is heading to rehab.

The controversial mother of 14 children checked herself into the Chapman House Treatment center in Orange, Calif. last Tuesday evening for anxiety, stress and exhaustion, E! News confirms.

According to Suleman's rep, Nadya has been "taking Xanax that was prescribed by her doctor to deal with anxiety, but she felt she needed a treatment program to help with her recovery."

The 37-year-old exotic dancer will remain in treatment for 28 days or more, if needed. 

Suleman's rep also added that the rehab center offered to treat the infamous mother at no charge, but Nadya opted to pay for the program.

TMZ reports that Nadya is leaving all 14 children in the care of three nannies and two friends.
