After meeting him and becoming friends more than a year ago, the Love in the Wild host has been casually dating jeweler-to-the-stars Pascal Mouawad for the last couple of months, a source tells E! News.
But McCarthy recently relocated with son Evan to her hometown of Chicago. Just how are they making this work? (Well, for starters, the two had dinner tonight at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills and Mouawad bought McCarthy roses. That never hurts.)
"It's a very new thing and not serious yet, but who knows where it will go?" says our source.
"Jenny lives in Chicago full-time now, but is back and forth a lot to shoot her show here, and so her and Pascal see each other whenever they can. He is often traveling because of work, but they are making it work and enjoying each other's company."
What more can two people ask for these days, really?
McCartney was dating Chicago Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher earlier this year, but they parted ways in August.
Speaking to E! News on Oct. 8 about her latest book, Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic, McCarthy described herself as single—but, she also said that dating in Chicago was "weird."
No wonder she's saving romance for her trips to L.A.!
