Jessica Simpson Steps Out in the Wake of News Her Parents Are Divorcing

That's just what Jessica Simpson was seen doing on Wednesday after it was publicly announced that her parents, Tina and Joe Simpson, had officially filed for divorce.

Decked out in shorts and a black T-shirt covered up with a red hoodie, the shades-wearing new mom looked ready to work up a sweat.

While Simpson has remained tight-lipped on her folks calling it quits, a publicist for the couple confirmed the news in a statement.

'It is an amicable split and there is no third party involved," the rep said. "Any other related allegations are completely false."

The two are ending things after 34 years of marriage.
