Don't want to kiss and tell? Just ring a bell!

That's what Ellen DeGeneres tried to get Taylor Swift to do on her show (airing Thursday). But the country-pop star got more than a little uncomfortable with giant pictures of herself with exes (and rumored exes) Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Joe Jonas, Cory Monteith and a few faces went up on a screen behind her.

"Stop it, stop it, stop!" Taylor squealed, unwilling to play Ellen's game of "ringing a bell" to narrow down who songs on her new album Red are written about. "This makes me feel so bad about myself."

"Every time I come here you put like a different dude up there on the screen. And it just makes me really question like what I stand for as a human being," she said. "There's never been two guys on the screen two visits in a row. It's sad."

Taylor explained she didn't want to explicitly reveal who her songs were written about because it's "the one shred of dignity" she has left.  "People go and makes guesses about it and the only thing that I have is that one card. "

Fair enough.

But dating isn't all doom and gloom for Taylor, who is currently dating 18-year-old Conor Kennedy.

On Wednesday, she debuted the music video for "Begin Again," an optimistic song about moving on from heartbreak and falling in love again.
