One Direction and NFL star Drew Brees made a big splash when they teamed up with Pepsi to create 1DB—yes, as in One Direction Brees.
And E! News has the exclusive video showing all the backstage fun that went on for this superstar pairing.
Check out the hilarious spoof where the New Orleans quarterback dons red pants and a boy-band-chic blazer, and even offers his vocals on stage.
So how does Drew feel about trading in his helmet for a mic?
Drew says, "It's awesome being in the band…I think I bring such a different element than anything they've had." Adding, "I give them a lot more confidence...[and there's] certain things we can do now that I know the band couldn't do before."
However, the feeling's not exactly mutual for the British boys.
"He has a very monotone kind of sounding voice" says Zayn Malik.
Harry Styles concurs: "I think he's too big. He takes up too much space and can't hold a tune."
Yet Drew concludes the vid with "We've become even more popular since I've joined."
Well, maybe. But Drew will definitely gain some new fans after this, that's for sure!
