A member of our E! family is ready to wed!

E! News correspondent Ashlan Gorse and her boyfriend, Philippe Cousteau, are engaged after two years together.

Cousteau, himself a special correspondent for CNN and grandson of iconic undersea explorer Jacques Cousteau, popped the question Oct. 14, during a "magical" romantic getaway to Paris, on a rooftop overlooking the Eiffel Tower. He sealed the deal with a bespoke ring codesigned with jeweler Jorge Adeler.

Gorse, who also anchors E! News Now, and her beau met in July 2010, when Cousteau gave a speech to celebrities about the environment as he was covering the BP oil spill. In addition to his CNN duties, her newly minted fiancé is well-known for his environmental work, exploration and social entrepreneurship.

In an exclusive statement, Gorse and Cousteau tell us that they are "over the moon and look forward to all of the adventures life holds."

A wedding date has not been set.

Congratulations, you two! We wish you many years of happiness.
