And the curse of the Bachelor breakup strikes again.

Bachelor Pad season three contestants Tony Pieper and his partner turned fiancée, Blakeley Jones, have called it quits just one month after they announced their engagement. The 30-year-old single dad has since changed his Facebook relationship status from "engaged" to "single."

Meanwhile, Blakeley posted an Instagram photo of a quote on Friday that read, "You don't know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have."

So, what went wrong between the Bachelor Pad lovebirds?

"Unfortunately, things didn't work as we had hoped," Pieper tells Wetpaint. "No one is to blame. It just ended up being a lot harder than we expected. I wish her nothing but the absolute best. She deserves total happiness."

Pieper proposed to his girlfriend with a stunning Neil Lane diamond sparkler on the Bachelor Pad's September finale.

Pieper and Jones' broken engagement is the third October split in the never-ending Bachelor breakup streak. In early October, Ben Flajnik called off his 11-month engagement to The Bachelor winner Courtney Robertson. Former Bachelorette Emily Maynard and Jef Holm split just two weeks later.

Here's hoping November is a better month for the ABC reality show's stars.
