Breaking Dawn: Part 2 actress shows off a fiery look after tweeting that her hair stylist was "working some magic"

Making the transformation from summer to fall sometimes requires more than just a wardrobe change.

Hollywood hottie Ashley Greene showed off a new dye job with her hair recently after opting to give her tresses a kick by going red.

"Jason Backe is working some magic on my hair at the Ted Gibson salon," the Twilight star tweeted on Friday from New York City. "It's going to be crazy and exciting."

Greene showed off her new hair while in New York City hanging out with friends before heading to South Africa to begin promotional appearances for the final (hold back the tears!) Twilight installment, Breaking Dawn: Part 2.

The 25-year-old recently graced the cover of Marie Claire's November issue, where she opened up about her love life.

"I've gotten very good at detaching whenever I have to go away for three months, which I realize is hard on friends and kind of selfish. You go on a couple of dates, and then someone ships off to do a movie. It's not like you're going to fly out and see them, because it's not serious enough for that." She then added, "I'm always here and there—everyone in my industry is—and that's why a lot of relationships are fleeting."

Maybe dyeing her hair the color of love will bring some luck into that department?
