Behind every great Two and a Half Men episode, there's a great (and very blond) woman!

That's the takeaway from last night's TV ratings, given that Miley Cyrus' first guest appearance on Ashton Kutcher's CBS sitcom lead the show to season-high numbers. Her debut episode brought in 13.6 million viewers and a 4.0 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, a 14 percent jump from last week.

Perhaps Cyrus tweeting her 9 million Twitter followers to tune in helped?

Two and a Half Men wasn't CBS' only strong performer either; The Big Bang Theory scored 15.4 million viewers and a 4.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, and dramas Person of Interest and newbie Elementary also delivered solid numbers, bringing in 18.83 and 10.84 million viewers respectively.

Elsewhere, ratings for the CW's new drama Beauty and the Beast took an ugly turn, dropping 27 percent from its premiere to 2 million. The Vampire Diaries dropped to 2.47 million viewers, down 14 percent.

Over at ABC, Grey's Anatomy brought in 9.5 million viewers, while Scandal's latest ep attracted 6.4 million. 7.3 million tuned into new drama Last Resort. NBC's comedy night was pretty steady from last week, except Up All Night scored a 1.4 rating, a 27 percent increase from last week.
