When Louise Roe and Jennifer Love Hewitt arrived at the Variety Power of Women Luncheon in the same shade of chartreuse, we raised our eyebrows with color-conscious curiosity. After all, this hot hue isn't for the timid.
Not long after, Anna Kendrick confidently followed suit in a silky one-shoulder number in New York and dazzled like the starlet that she is. And upon seeing Lauren Conrad and Helen Hunt clad in the vivid color on the same night this week, we concluded that this color trend was simply sensational.
As for accessories, we think it's best to let the shocking shade take center stage and applaud the subtle nude shoes Conrad and Kendrick cleverly paired with their frocks.
And while all of these ladies stunned in their respective chartreuse frocks, we think Kendrick is clearly the winner. The one-shoulder silhouette drapes her petite frame beautifully and the head-to-toe look is a refreshing departure from her typically safe ensembles.
