The supermodel chosen to wear the $2.5 million "Fantasy Bra" created by London Jewelers each year is traditionally kept under wraps until a few weeks before the show. But word got out earlier than expected that Alessandra Ambrosio (who just gave birth to son Noah Phoenix five months ago!) was the lucky angel chosen to wear this year's blinged-out bra.
Per the New York Post, Victoria's Secret accidentally showed a sneak peek of the 31-year-old Brazilian beauty in a "Victoria's Secret Angels Talk Seduction" YouTube video last week. (The snippet has since been edited out.) The lingerie retailer was reportedly planning to reveal that Ambrosio was the angel chosen to wear the bra at their Soho store in New York City this Thursday.
But on Tuesday, V.S. decided to go public with the big reveal. "I am so honored to be wearing the Fantasy Bra in the #vsfashionshow!" Ambrosio tweeted. "Can't wait for you all to see it in the show!"
The 2012 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show films early next month and airs Dec. 4 on CBS.
