Shakira's bump doesn't lie.

The pregnant singer took her hip-shaking moves and protruding belly to the Azerbaijan stage to perform at the closing ceremony of FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Baku last night.

"I felt awesome on stage! We really enjoyed tonight! Shak #Baku," the singer tweeted, and let fans know that a baby bump won't stop her from whipping her hair back and forth from time to time.

Shakira, who wore black leather leggings with a form-fitting black dress and black leather wedge boots, was in the middle of controversy when it came to this specific performance.

Amnesty International and Sing for Democracy had sent a letter to her (and Rihanna, who was also scheduled to perform), encouraging the artist to rethink taking the stage by making her aware of the alleged human rights abuses being inflicted on the nation's people.

In the letter sent to the singers, Amnesty International stated it "believes that the Azerbaijani government should afford all artists, journalists, activists and ordinary citizens the right to express themselves freely without fear of reprisal. We hope that you share our belief."

Shakira's rep was not immediately available for comment.
