Still reeling over tonight's Homeland? Ditto. Lucky for you, Team WWK has some scoop on what lies ahead for Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) and Congressman Brody (Damian Lewis).

If you haven't caught up on episode three—"State of Independence"—click here.

Everyone else…let's do this:

Next Sunday's episode is what we have all been waiting for: Carrie and Brody come face to face.

Since Carrie was right all along about Brody's al-Qaeda ties, she does come back to the CIA for a super-top-secret project. Saul (Mandy Patinkin) obviously is in on this, but you might be surprised about which recognizable character also gives Carrie the A-OK to be involved.

When Brody first meets up with Carrie you probably aren't going to know whether to go awww or get him! Remember…this is a twisted love story, after all. Remember what Damian Lewis told us at the Emmys:

"The writers have stumbled upon this [Carrie and Brody romance] thing slightly. It's taken everyone a bit by surprise, the possibility that Homeland is not just a thriller, but has this strange central spine which is a kind of love story. And so there will be more of it."

You will not be disappointed at Brody and Carrie's interactions coming up. Let's just say the "love" bomb is dropped, but it's not what you think.

We can't give everything away, right? If you think you've seen the best episode (or ending to an episode) of Homeland yet, you better prepare yourself for "New Car Smell" airing in a week.

We will reiterate what we've been saying the past few weeks: this season moves fast.
