Here's a sentence that seems way overdue: Jennifer Aniston has a hair care line.

The woman whose hair has just about racked up as many column inches as her dating life (and that's no mean feat, no matter how ubiquitous The Rachel was) has done the inevitable and joined forces with Living Proof, becoming the co-owner and, as it happens, hair model/spokeswoman for the beauty company.

Which, incidentally, isn't just your standard celeb collaboration.

The line was cofounded by an MIT professor, and rather than following the traditional albeit formulaic beauty-industry standards, the company has created their products rather unusually, modeling their process on the biotech industry.

As for Aniston, Justin Theroux's soon-to-be missus won't just be the pretty face (and tresses) of the line. Rather, she'll be involved in the development of the brand and creative marketing direction, and will collaborate with stylists and scientists alike on new product ideas.

"I've tried so many hair care products," Aniston said. "Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything...blow dryers, flatirons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating. After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world."

Well, as customer testimonials go, that one's gonna carry some weight.

The line is available nationwide, as well as in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand.
