Jennifer Love Hewitt learned the hard way just how sore you can get from working out.

In fact, the boxing ring got the best of The Client List actress during her most recent trip to the gym.

"Guess who broke her wrist yesterday boxing to get fit for season two!" Hewitt tweeted. "I will be spending the weekend resting in my pjs."

Just yesterday, Hewitt was snapped leaving a West Hollywood salon dressed casually and sporting a baby blue cast on her right arm, proving she did indeed do a number on her hand.

The 33-year-old star later thanked her Twitter followers and assured fans that she's doing fine.

"Thanks for all the concern about my wrist," she wrote. "Has slowed me down but hasn't stopped me. Have a great day."
