"Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future. @mittromney @teamromney #mittromney #VOTE #voteromney," the Clueless star tweeted, along with a photo of herself in a Baywatch-inspired red one-piece, life preserver in hand, American flag as a backdrop.
No mistaking the message there. Nor was there any mistaking what Mark Hamill, who hasn't pulled any punches when it comes to Romney so far, tweeted following the presidential debate last week.
"I've never seen a candidate for President lie more than Romney," the Star Wars icon tweeted Thursday. "He lies effortlessly, shamelessly.This snake oil salesman must be defeated!!!"
He added Saturday: "Unlike the GOP, President Obama cares about more than the wealthy, he cares about us all. Obama deserves a 2nd term."
Meanwhile, Romney's letting a chance to impress a bunch of future leaders of America fall by the wayside.
The Republican hopeful has declined the invitation to appear on Nickelodeon's Kids Pick the President special on Oct. 15, which will be featuring a Q&A with President Barack Obama. Afterward, kids get to vote online for their candidate of choice.
They might not be of legal voting age, but they've matched up with the actual electoral college five out of six times.
"That's several million kids who actually want to get involved in the democratic process," said Nick News host Linda Ellerbee. "They don't deserve to be dissed. But former Gov. Romney also blew off Letterman and Big Bird, so I guess we're in good company."
Past Romney soundbites will be included in the special in lieu of fresh remarks.
"By answering kids' questions directly, candidates show respect for kids," Ellerbee added. "We are disappointed that Mitt Romney wouldn't take the time to answer the questions, but are thrilled that President Obama participated in the special."
