Call it the calm before the storm.

Ahead of Saturday's heavily hyped The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium, Jon Stewart invited his nemesis, Bill O'Reilly, on Thursday's episode of The Daily Show to ham it up and plug the Fox News pundit's new book, Killing Kennedy.

During the segment, the two shared a beer offered up a preview of their mock debate, and Stewart subsequently zinged his guest's latest nonfiction tome, the follow-up to his similarly titled best-seller Killing Lincoln.

"So you got Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, I assume Killing Garfield…the president or the cat?" quipped Stewart. "What's the next one?"

"Killing Colbert," O'Reilly replied wryly, referring to Stephen Colbert's TV parody of him.

"I cannot abide! You have stepped over the line!" fired back Stewart. "You are so going down Saturday night."

As for their much-ballyhooed Rumble taking place this weekend, Stewart revealed he's receiving debate coaching from Colbert, who popped up on the previous night's Daily Show with a chicken to help him practice.

"You're gonna be sayin' my Haftorah. You won't even know what happened to ya," responded the comedian.

When asked about his own preparations, O'Reilly said he was training with a professor.

You see me as Mitt Romney?" asked Bill O.

"No, I see you…as like an Abominable Snowman," cracked Stewart. "All I have to do is get out of your peripheral vision and I'm fine."

The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium takes place at George Washington University in Washington, D.C., at 8 p.m. and will stream live.
