This isn't the Clinton we normally associate with wandering eyes, but then, we didn't expect the hottest watercooler topic to come out of the first presidential debate to be Big Bird. Politics. It's a crazy business.

In any case, while President Barack Obama was in Denver facing off against Mitt Romney yesterday, his secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, was back in Washington, D.C., helping honor (well, that's one word for it) Christina Aguilera.

Hey, eyes up here, Hillary.

Still, as cheeky as the photo op turned out, Clinton's heart (if not her eyes) was in the right place, as she was on hand for the 11th annual George McGovern Leadership Award ceremony, held at the U.S. Department of State.

Aguilera was one of the honorees at the event, thanks to her work as an Ambassador Against Hunger for the United Nations World Food Program. During her tenure as the global spokeswoman for the Yum! Brands World Hunger Relief Campaign, she's helped raised nearly $115 million for the organization.

During yesterday's ceremony, Aguilera was not only honored by Clinton, but took part in a roundtable discussion with fellow honoree and CEO of Yum! Brands David Novak, and Raj Shah, the administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development.

Nice going, Christina.
