Bristol Palin lives to dance another week. But could mama bear Sarah Palin be fox-trotting in her daughter's footsteps next?

The former V.P. hopeful, former governor of Alaska and former reality TV star turned out to support her eldest daughter this week on Dancing with the Stars, which made us wonder if Sarah herself was any closer to competing for the Mirrorball.

"I don't think she'd ever have time to do the show," Bristol—who donned a lacy red dress and new pair of Sarah-esque spectacles—told us last night at the Just Dance 4 party presented by Ubisoft and held at Hollywood's Lexington Social House.

And speaking of her mother, Bristol wants to make one thing very clear: Julianne Moore can feel double validated because Bristol is giving her a big thumbs down on her recent Emmy win (for portraying Sarah in Game Change).

"I don't think she's a good interpreter of my mom. I think my mom is way hotter than that," Bristol sounded off to us. "I think she doesn't have that accent. It's kind of silly, but my mom's awesome."

But the Emmys are in the past and Bristol has to look ahead to the future if she plans on nabbing the top spot in DWTS' All-Stars season. But first, she filled us in on whether she thinks she deserved to be in the bottom two this week.

"Um, I'm definitely not the best dancer," she explained to us. "But I'm having a good time. I think I'm the most improved and I'm just out there to do better each week."

Bristol also isn't blaming here fate on the dance floor on whether or not people are voting against her because of her rather controversial history in the media. "I think people are just going to vote for their favorite, regardless of anything," she said. "And I'm just thankful that we're on to the next week."

Next week, Bristol, who attributes her slimmed-down figure to "doing some cardio and cutting the crap out of [her] diet," promises "something goofy." And for those more interested in Bristol's controversy than her fancy footwork, fellow DWTS contest Kyle Massey was also in attendance last night.

Surely you remember that the Cory in the House star sued Bristol's reality show, but there seemed to be no bad blood last night. "I can't say much about what you're going to ask me about," Massey protested, but did reveal he "just saw Bristol. I gave her a hug and a kiss and said hi to Mrs. Palin. I'm fine with Bristol."
