MTVIt almost feels like MTV is having a harder time saying goodbye to the original Teen Moms than we are.
Don't get us wrong, we hated having to part from Maci, Amber, Catelynn and Farrah, but at least we have some more updates on this foursome now.
So let's get straight into it...
Catelynn: It's all about wedding planning! Catelynn and Tyler have set a date for their big day: July 13, 2013. Viewers got to witness a tearful Catelynn find the perfect dress while shopping with her mom and loved ones, and also go "cake testing" with Ty. But one hurdle remains—will their daughter Carly (who they gave up for adoption) attend the ceremony? Unfortunately, all we know is the soon-to-be newlyweds are going to write the adoptive parents and hope for the best.
Amber: This Teen Mom wasn't able to be a part of the special, since she was sentenced to five years in prison, so Gary gave us his insight on how things went down when his baby mama opted to go to jail instead of drug court. Clearly distressed and worried for their daughter Leah, Gary says, "I'm still a single dad and I'll be a single dad tomorrow." But don't worry, you can get Amber's side of the story during her Behind Bars special with Dr. Drew next Tuesday.
Farrah: Not much has changed for this reality star, except she tells viewers that she is "happier" now, but still butts heads with her mother on how to parent Sophia. There was one changing factor, though. Farrah went to visit her late baby daddy Derek's grave, and there were no tears. Kudos, Farrah.
Maci: Some of you might remember from the reunion that Maci and Kyle split up because of some mischievous behavior on his part, so she moved out into a new house with her son Bentley and her girlfriends. She also tells fans that she's doing a lot better in school and has a better relationship with Ryan. Hmmm, wonder why that might be? Oh, maybe because Ryan and Dalis broke up! Yeah! He also moved out of his parents house and into his own apartment. But for everyone who still hopes that Maci and Ryan get back together, it's not happening. "He's not a bad person, he's just not for me," Maci says. "I think we've forgiven each other but there's still a lot of anger."
