We can't help falling in love with this story.
After relocating to England with her family in 2010, Lisa Marie Presley came up with a novel way to introduce herself to the locals—to sell fish and chips out of a truck for a day in East Sussex.
"She is really interested in who people are and wanted to know all about our lives and how we live," Kim Scales, owner of the Mr. Chippy van, told The Daily Mail. "She got on there with her son, but we were all laughing because not one of the locals realized who it was. She served one local double fishcake and chips and he didn't have a clue that she was Elvis Presley's daughter."
And apparently, it was pretty fitting that Presley opted to serve such food.
"She loves fish and chips," Scales noted. "She's partial to a pint of Guinness, too!"
Sure, this may have all gone down two years ago, but it's only now that photographic evidence has surfaced.
But hey, that's all right.
