X17It's good to know that Eva Longoria's BFF George Lopez totally approves of her dating New York Jets hunk Mark Sanchez.
But that doesn't mean that the comedian can't make a joke here and there about the former Desperate Housewives actress and her man's 12-year age difference.
"The one thing I appreciate about Eva is that, no matter what grade a dude is in, she doesn't discriminate on who she's dating," Lopez told us at the 12th annual Padres Contra el Cancer El Sueno De Esperanza Gala at the New Tropicana in Las Vegas.
Longoria, 37, and Sanchez, 25, began dating recently (within just the last few months) after she split from Penélope Cruz's 27-year-old little brother Eduardo. Lopez says that Longoria has really gotten into football since hooking up with Sanchez.
"She's very intense," he laughed. "She disappears on Sundays now."
While Longoria told us at the gala that her favorite thing about visiting Vegas is gambling, she said she didn't place any bets on Sanchez's Jets game against the San Francisco 49ers yesterday. "I shouldn't bet," she teased with a smile.
Longoria will however get a chance to get her gambling on when she opens her new Vegas steakhouse SHe on New Years Eve this year. "I love craps, I love poker," she dished.
