Arnold Schwarzenegger: I Had "Hot Affair" with Brigitte Nielsen

Former California governor said he had a fling with the actress while he was living with Maria Shriver

Arnold Schwarzenegger's confessions just keep rolling in.

As he's been making the media rounds dishing details of his secret romance with his family's housekeeper, which resulted in a son, the former California governor is revealing another dalliance behind Shriver's back. In his new autobiography, Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story, The actor reveals he had a "hot affair" with Brigitte Nielsen.

Schwarzenegger said the duo's short-lived fling went down while he and now ex-wife Shriver were dating and living together, according to Time.

But Schwarzenegger went on to say he knew their relationship wouldn't last and it made him realize he wanted to marry Shriver. 

News of this particular dalliance shouldn't come as that much of a shock.

Nielsen wrote about the whirlwind romance in her own memoir published last year, saying she and the Expendables star had an "outrageous affair" while making the 1985 film Red Sonja, in which they costarred. 

The actress, who subseqently married Sylvester Stallone and more recently had a fling with Flavor Flav, said she didn't know Schwarzenegger was dating Shriver at the time.
