We're not the only ones who think Angelina Jolie looks perfect for the part of Maleficent.
The producer of the upcoming Disney fairy tale flick says the Oscar-winning actress is doing a stellar job playing Sleeping Beauty's villain.
"Maleficent is coming together great," Don Hahn told us at last night's Hollywood premiere of Frankenweenie. "She is born to play that role."
How so?
"She looks like the character," Hahn gushed. "She's this gorgeous, beautiful woman who has a past and she's just perfect for it."
As for Jolie's Maleficent transformation, Hahn dished, "Robert Stromberg, our director, sent over some early pictures of her in Rick Baker's makeup and it's the kind of thing where you look at it and go, 'This is going to work!' You never know because it's on the page. How is it going to translate from the page to something visual? And one of the greatest actresses of our time, I think everybody will enjoy seeing her."
We'll also be seeing Jolie and Brad Pitt's 4-year-old daughter Vivienne make her acting debut in the film. "[Vivienne] plays her as a younger character which is really sweet," Hahn said. "She has such a sweet family."
So does Viv have the acting bug like her mama? "Who knows?" he laughed. "I think she was just glad to be there with her mom."
