Kelsey Grammer seems to play favorites when it comes to Piers Morgan and Anderson Cooper.

Although the Frasier star stormed off of Piers' CNN show when a photo of ex-wife Camille Grammer was shown, he was much more amenable to discussing the mistakes he made with his previous relationship during an appearance on Anderson Live set to air Wednesday.

When Anderson asked Kelsey if he regretted his appearances on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills he answered candidly that he was "trying to pretend things were normal for the sake of letting her have that moment."

Why Kelsey stormed off Piers' show

"It was just ill advised," he admitted. "It was the wrong decision, and I should have come home from England when I first met [current wife] Kayte and just said, 'Listen, I've met somebody and this hasn't been working for a long time.' I regret not doing that."

He doesn't, however, regret his relationship with Kayte. "Kayte's a woman that knows how to love," he gushed. "It doesn't mean that she doesn't have strong opinions about things or that we agree on everything we talk about, but there's a person in my life that looks on me as someone that's important. That she doesn't wanna live without. That's just an extraordinary thing."

Kelsey and Kayte, who married in February 2011, welcomed a daughter, Faith, in July.
