Singer Jessica Simpson posted an absolutely precious photo of her main squeeze (and fiancé) Eric Johnson holding their adorable daughter, Maxwell. 

So what was the special occasion?

Not that we need any formal event to admire Simpson's beautiful little girl, but it was actually Johnson's birthday!

"Daddy's 33rd Birthday," Jessica tweeted. "Last year at Daddy's party, Maxwell was in my belly. This year she's in my arms!"

Although black-and-whites are elegant and make any photo look priceless, we were also super happy to see Maxwell's baby blues last week as she made her public debut at the airport in New York City.
