Bob Mahoney/The CWWe still have 24 days to go until the season-four premiere of The Vampire Diaries. And that bites. Thankfully, the CW feels our pain and just released a totally-new, bloody-good clip from the highly anticipated episode, which airs on Oct. 11.
Opening amidst a white screen and the wail of sirens, the teaser finds Elena (Nina Dobrev) awaking from her undead slumber, panicked and gasping for air. While Stefan (Paul Wesley) is at her bedside to comfort his love, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) wastes no time stirring up trouble, informing Elena that she had vamp blood in her system at the time of the accident.
