Last week, we finally got our first glimpse of Snooki's adorable new Jersey boy Lorenzo, and this week, we're finding out more about what it was like for Snooki's cohorts to actually meet the precious bambino.
E! News caught up with Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola at the launch of her new sportswear line, the Sammi Sweetheart Collection for SXE Fitness, at New York Fashion Week, and she was more than ready to gush about her first meeting with Snooki and hubby Jionni LaValle's li'l spawn—not to mention her first words with the proud mama.
"The baby is beautiful and I couldn't be happier for her and her family," Sammi tells us backstage at her show in downtown Manhattan, flanked by busty, bustling models in tank tops and track pants.
So what was the first thing she told Snooki when she saw Lorenzo?
"He is such a cute little meatball!" Sammi recalls.
Mama Meatball's response, meanwhile, was classic Snooki.
"She's like, 'I know,'" Sammi says, laughing.
We couldn't agree more: One look at that the tot's cute mug and you just know MTV is happy to hedge its bets on a Snooki-Jionni-Lorenzo spin-off.
