Scandal be damned.

Liberty Ross, Rupert Sanders' scorned wife, surprised celeb watchers when she fiercely walked the runway at the Alexander Wang show at New York Fashion Week Saturday, putting on a brave face as she continues to move past her hubby's affair with Kristen Stewart.

But that doesn't mean she wasn't fazed by the task at hand.

"To be honest, I was totally terrified," the stunning brunette told The Cut at the after-party for Wang's show in downtown Manhattan.

"I hadn't actually been out of my house for seven weeks, so I was really anxious," she added. "But it felt amazing."

Of course, the 33-year-old might be overestimating that hiatus a wee bit, as she recently attended the premiere of Lawless and has also been spotted around Los Angeles. (Stewart, meanwhile, recently walked a very different kind of event, hitting up the premiere of On the Road in Toronto.)

Still, we're glad to see Ross, an erstwhile model who's now kicking off her acting career, getting back to what she does so deftly: flooring folks with her grace and beauty.

Wang, for his part, was candid when asked about why he cast her in his show: "Because I love her and I support her."

With terrific big-ups like that, why worry about being terrified?
