Kristen Stewart wasn't the only one who emerged over the last week.

Snooki's son Lorenzo enjoyed his first magazine cover. One of Barney's girlfriends on How I Met Your Mother was outed as having once been in the running to be Mrs. Tom Cruise. A model who says she snogged Prince Harry during his wild Vegas weekend spilled her version of events to a British tabloid.

And not only did all sorts of people emerge, both voluntarily (hey, look at me!) and otherwise, but a host of other happenings went down as well. Check out what else came to light this week:

ON THE ROAD AGAIN: Kristen Stewart, looking not only none the worse for wear but downright radiant, attended a special screening of her raciest film yet, On the Road, at the Toronto Film Festival. Of course, that was after she wore Robert Pattinson's shirt to the airport.

MARRIAGE IMPOSSIBLE: While Katie Holmes finally doing an interview since getting divorced and making her first post-split official appearance was news, the real scoop came from Vanity Fair, which put out a massive, Paul Haggis-approved exposé on Tom Cruise's search for a suitable mate after breaking up with Penélope Cruz, who, per the piece, just wasn't enlightened enough to embrace Scientology. The church has denied every juicy part of the story, which also outed Nazanin Boniadi (Nora on HIMYM!) as someone who was taken for a test drive as a possible mate for Cruise but ultimately never made it off the lot.

COUNTRY STRONG: Kellie Pickler shaved her head in solidarity with a pal who's battling cancer. Who else wants to give Kellie a huge hug for being awesome right now?

HEARTBREAKER: Michael Clarke Duncan, Oscar-nominated star of The Green Mile, died at 54, having never left the hospital after suffering a massive heart attack in July.

ADORABLE MEATBALL: Snooki showed off baby boy Lorenzo on the cover of People. He's the best of both worlds, the one on Jersey Shore and the real one.

MTV VMAS PDA: Chris Brown and Rihanna went right on being friends in front of everybody, sharing a winners' smooch amid the crowd at the otherwise infuriatingly drama-free MTV Video Music Awards. Other than that, it was "exciting" to see Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner introduce a Breaking Dawn Part 2 clip while elsewhere K.Stew was doing her first red carpet. Miley Cyrus doesn't know what all the fuss is about over her and Pink's dueling mohawks, but...we do.

ROYAL FLUSH: There are more important issues at hand for Prince Harry, who's back in Afghanistan to fly helicopters in combat, but his reps in Britain are left denying that Carrie Reichert made out with the royal during his wild weekend in Las Vegas. At least she told the Mirror that Harry remained a gentleman throughout! (In other royal news, Katie Couric thinks Kate Middleton is too thin.)

TWO CENTS: Latest to weigh in on the Robsten cheating scandal: VMAs host Kevin Hart and Twilight Saga author Stephenie Meyer.

FOUR MORE YEARS: The more, er, vocal tweeters in Hollywood loved what President Barack Obama, Michelle Obama and Bill Clinton had to say (and, in Michelle's case, was wearing) at the Democratic National Convention, where Kal Penn got to give the Clint Eastwood rebuttal. Lindsay Lohan, however, may have missed the point.

SOS: Russell Crowe rescued off the coast of Long Island, N.Y., after kayaking astray.

SCREEN PLAY: No shock here: Ryan Gosling is wanted for Fifty Shades of Grey...Jeffrey Wright joins Catching Fire as Beetee...Tobey Maguire sliced from Life of Pi for being too famous...Lawless opened at No. 2, too low to maintain Shia LaBeouf's box-office streak.
