Don't be surprised if Chris Colfer becomes a second-time New York Times best-selling author.
It wasn't even two months ago that the Glee star, 22, shot to No. 1 with the debut of his children's book, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell.
Next up is the November release of Struck by Lightning: The Carson Phillips Journal, Colfer's first young adult novel based on his upcoming flick (that he also wrote), Struck by Lightning.
And only we have the exclusive first look at the book's cover!
Made to look like a piece of lined white paper from a school notebook, Colfer is featured on the cover sitting on a stool. A broken pencil shaped like lightning bolt looms over his head.
Like the movie, the Struck by Lightning book follows Carson Phillips, an outcast high school senior who dreams of becoming the editor of The New Yorker. The flick stars Colfer in the leading role and costars Christina Hendricks, Rebel Wilson, Sarah Hyland, Dermot Mulroney and Allison Janney.
As we also exclusively told you, Colfer is writing a second movie, which he hopes to start shooting this summer.
