Judging from tonight's barnburner of an appearance by Michelle Obama, fashion's love affair with with the first lady just might continue...for four more years maybe?

The keynote speaker for the first night of the Democratic National Convention wore a stunning sleeveless Tracy Reese frock with a deep pink, printed bodice that gave way to silver at the skirt hem.

The first lady finished the look—and stuck to her famous high-fashion-but-budget-savvy sense of style—with a set of matching J.Crew rose pumps and what looked like a cool silver mani to boot.
