Purrwood, anyone?!

Finally, all the cat videos we've wasted countless hours viewing are being awarded. The first Cat Video Film Festival was held this week in Minneapolis at the Walker Art Center, granting the video Henri 2, Paw de Deux the people's choice award, aka the Golden Kitty.

So just how many people attended the first-ever feline fest? More than 10,000 film cat lovers, according to The Hollywood Reporter

Festival organizer Katie Czarniecki Hill told the Los Angeles Times "It is an experiment," adding, "It will be interesting to see if people think it is silly, or great, or a waste of time. But I like the idea of everyone admitting they like cat videos."

Guilty as charged! The hilarious quasi-high brow prize-winning film is in French with English subtitles, and is swimming in kitty ennui, but there's sure to be something for everyone in this cat-tastic collection.
