Forget winter—Shirley MacLaine is coming!

Downton Abbey is set to welcome the American star in season three as Cora's (Elizabeth McGovern) much-talked-about mother, Martha Levinson. Also being welcomed in the new season, set to premiere in January on PBS? The roaring '20s!

In brand-new stills from season three, we get a sneak peek at Martha, as well as Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and Lady Sybil's (Jessica Brown Findlay) flapper style.

Chic alert! We are loving Martha's posh look…and can smell her forward-thinking ways from here. We are counting down the  days until we get to witness her first verbal smackdown with Maggie Smith's Dowager Countess.

So what will Martha's presence mean for Cora? "Cora's upbringing was not the same as Robert's...but as things start to change and the plates are shifting, and we are reminded what Cora's comes from," creator Julian Fellowes recently said. "If anyone understands the world that is coming, it's Cora."

Also, let's take a moment to discuss how pretty all of Downton's ladies look in the '20s style, but we think the edge goes to Lady Mary.
