No, that wasn't Curb Your Enthusiasm star Jeff Garlin speaking at the Republican National Convention last night.

Ever since New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie took the stage in Tampa Tuesday to give his keynote speech, Twitter has been ablaze with fans joking that the Republican politico bares a striking resemblance to Larry David's TV pal.

So what does Garlin think of the comparison?

"I don't look like Gov. Christie," Garlin tweeted to fans. "So enough of that. However my character in Wall e does. So enjoy that."

While Gov. Christie has yet to comment on the comparison, tons of fans have pointed out on Twitter that the actor and politician look alike.

"Why was Jeff Garlin allowed to speak at the Republican Convention? #rnc," Hollywood Reporter staffer Matthew Belloni tweeted.

"Actor Jeff Garlin will play Chris Christie in the Lifetime movie ‘Is There Food Served on this Flight? The Chris Christie Story,'" a fake account for Vice President Joe Biden's wife Jill joked on the social networking site.

"Somebody wake Mitt up. Jeff Garlin is yelling at him #ChrisChristie," another fan tweeted.

Somehow, we can imagine this is giving Larry David ideas.
