Charlie Sheen certainly has no reason to be angry.

That's because his FX series, Anger Management, has not only just been renewed, but the network has ordered a whopping 90 episodes! And get this: They are to be produced in the next two years (as opposed to the more typical 13 or 24 episodes a year)!

Not surprising, Sheen's rep Larry Solters tells E! News that the actor is thrilled with the news.

Oh, and lest we forget, it was also recently announced that Martin Sheen has been cast in a recurring role as Charlie's father. (Bonus!)

"We set a very high ratings bar that included some additional hurdles for Anger Management to earn its back-90 order and the series met and exceed those metrics," said Chuck Saftler, Executive Vice President of FX Networks, in a statement. "Charlie Sheen and the entire cast did an amazing job in the first ten episodes, which were produced in a very tight window. I have no doubt that the producers and cast will be able to pull off the Herculean task of producing 90 episodes over the next two years."

Talk about winning!

During FX's TCA press tour a few weeks back, president John Landgraf was confident even then that the show would get picked up. Sheen told the press that even though the huge episode order seemed daunting, he was ready to work. "It doesn't put any pressure on me....That's something we can't control...[It's] exciting as hell," he said. "I don't think 90 is going to be enough. I said that out loud, didn't I? I feel like how we've started, we've just scratched the surface."

And with the 90-episode renewal comes a new series regular: Sheen's father Martin Sheen, who will continue playing his role of Charlie's father on the show.
