After stopping by the How I Met Your Mother set last week, the gold medalist decided to visit another TV set: Pretty Little Liars!
After being called "the cutest" by star Lucy Hale and "lovely" by Ashley Benson, Maroney tweeted compliments back at each of the pretty liars. "LOVE your cover of Cosmopolitan!!" she said to Hale, while she messaged Benson saying, "Can't wait for Spring Breakers.. You got me pumped!"
Tonight, Pretty Little Liars' midseason finale will expose the ultimate "betrAyal," as someone close to the girls (or one of the girls!) will be outed as a member of the "A"-team. To celebrate the sure-to-be intense hour, we're looking back at the season's most shocking moments...so far.
1. A Confusing Kiss: Though she and Paige (Lindsay Shaw) were seemingly about to exchange Varsity swimming jackets (is that what the kids do?) and make their relationship official, PLL pulled a fast one on us and had a vulernable Em kiss Nate (Sterling Sulieman), her dead ex-girlfriend's "cousin." A garbage can was hurt during the filming of this scene as Paige saw and took her frustrations out on said can.
2. Gone Body Gone: We still get chills thinking about the fact that someone dug up Allison's (Sasha Pieterse) body. And that Emily was drugged and brought to the scene of the crime.
3. A New Love Triangle: Yes, we weren't through our fair share of ice cream after Hanna (Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) split, but we have to admit we were pleasantly surprised by the chemistry between Hanna and charming Brit Wren (Julian Morris). We're kind of not sure which couple to root for at this point!
4. Future Plans: Is it weird that just seeing one of the Liars looking to the future and applying for college made our list of shocking moments? We never see the girls discuss colleges or anything future-related, so it was truly nice to see the genuine smile on Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) face when she applied. Aww!
5. Baby Daddy Drama: Surely one of the series' most shocking twists ever has to be the reveal that Ezra (Ian Harding) has a secret baby! Turns out, his mama paid one of his last girlfriends to hit the bricks with their love child. We wonder if the kiddo inherited his love of vests?
Pretty Little Liars' midseason finale airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
